BIG IMPACT IN A SHORT TIME
Though we are only one month into 2021, we have already seen:


20 individuals rescued out of homelessness, sex trafficking, and exploitation

STORY
OUTSIDE OF OUR PLAN

After one of our homelessness outreaches, a few of our outreach team members stayed to finish distributing food and continue connecting with people.

They then set out to meet a friend, and instead came across a man who seemed desperate. He was reading his Bible.

The man accepted their offer of prayer, our support line number, and a conversation.

During the conversation, our team shared the Gospel of grace and completion on the cross.

Incredible! Conversations like this are possible because of partners like you! Thank you!

STORY
STOPPED IN THE STREET

After one of our outreaches last year, as our team was returning from walking children home, an older gentleman from the neighborhood stopped them. 

He simply wanted to say:

"Thank you for all that you are doing for the kids — it brings tears to my eyes!"

In whatever way that you partner with us, we want you to know that your partnership not only has an impact on the communities we serve, it has a ripple effect.

BE THE ONE TO IGNITE!

 

Over the next four weeks, we are excited to invite you to be the one to ignite Out of Darkness across the nation!

 
The Out of Darkness initiative is a tried and true prototype for outreach, rescue, and emergency safe housing in the fight against sex trafficking, and has been able to rescue over 1,500 individuals over the past eight years.
 

While we are making incredible impact, countless individuals are still left without adequate options.


In fact, 89% of women want to escape prostitution but don't have other options for survival (Melissa Farley, et al). Only 1 in 100 victims of commercial sexual exploitation who do attempt to access services are able to do so (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 2012).


Since 2014, we have been operating branches of our Anti-Sex Trafficking Department, Out of Darkness, in Middle Georgia and Ohio. Now, we have the opportunity to finalize this replicable model and continue expanding!
