Who steps in to help when there's no where else to go?

We do. (Thanks to you!)

Our warming center was open for 24-hour services on Tuesday and Wednesday, and  due to the freezing temperatures, it will be open during the evening hours until temperatures rise to safer levels.  As you enter our center, you'll experience a smiling face to greet you, the smell of food being prepared, the warmth of the building and sometimes, laughter.

We know this is exactly where we need to be and that this work is exactly what we are called to do. We appreciate the coverage by Fox 5 in sharing our work.  In the coming days, we will participate in the annual Point in Time (PIT) Count of those experiencing homelessness in our community.  It's an annual effort across the country; however, for us, it's personal.

You are the reason we are able to do this work.  We are grateful for the support you provide. Over the coming days, will you consider a gift of:

  • Your time to serve as a resident assistant (RA) which will allow our workers to get a bit of rest before the next shift begins;

  • Gently used coats, gloves, hats and black or gray socks;

  • Providing non-perishable items;

  • Gift cards to purchase toiletries and other items; or a

  • Monthly monetary donation to allow us to plan for future emergency periods.

Thank you for your support!
