| | | | Lobby Day was a huge success as hundreds of advocates flooded the State Capitol to inform legislators that voters in the State of Georgia care about anti-trafficking legislation.
While Lobby Day focused on specific legislation, Out of Darkness staff had the unique opportunity to testify before the Health & Human Services Committee on behalf of House Resolution 447, declaring pornography a public health crisis.
While it passed committee that day, advocacy is still required as it has not yet hit the house floor for a vote.

In the care of the Out of Darkness Safe Home Staff, she began to trust God's promises and listen to His voice.

We are overjoyed to announce that we have reached our Be the One to Love goal of $65,000 in just six weeks! Our team is praising the Lord for His faithfulness and for the dedicated hearts of the team members who helped get the word out and raised funds together! When I think about the women I've met in the safe home this month and the lives that will be forever changed through these efforts, I'm overwhelmed with gratefulness. This year, already, 19 women have been served through the safe home and hundreds have been reached through OOD outreach to Atlanta streets, strip clubs, brothels and jails! Thank you for all of the ways you partner and support the work that's happening.
