Sherrone left home to escape the power hungry men who would do anything to anyone for greed.

After one death too many, Sherrone left her small town to seek the whereabouts of Sorren. The council had sent Sorren on a fool's errand, hoping to be rid of her, but Sherrone was determined to find her, needing to find her in order to move on with her life and get past the guilt eating away at her since her friend left.

As she left, a few friends came with her. But things were not as they had appeared to her her whole life, and none of her friends would tell her the meaning behind their cryptic words, only telling her she must find her own way to the truth. Frustrated and a little bereft, they happened upon the city of Jardeon. Larger than anything she could have imagined, Sherrone was confronted with some of the evil in the world as well as the truth of magic. And, she met the dreaded Shadow Knights, one who became particularly interested in her.

In her quest to search for Sorren, Sherrone may lose the few friends she had to the evils of those ruling Jardeon. She could lose herself. Would she get past her own self views of the world and accept her magic in time to save them, or would they all be doomed to their separate fates?
